ATTN PILOTS:

All personal flyers (cessnas of all kinds, prions, mosquitos, pattons and zeppelins) now become repairable wrecks when crashed. Your investment doesn't go up in smoke, but rather just needs some love and parts to fly again!

Insurance modules now do not pay out on crashing. They only pay out when you elect to self-destruct. When you install an insurance module, a 'destruct' command will appear in exam. When the owner of the flyer uses this command, a five minute countdown begins, at the end of which the flyer is *COMPLETELY DESTROYED*. It does not wreck; it is completely destroyed. This is the ONLY option that allows the complete destruction of a personal flyer, and only the owner may begin it.

Detonator modules still work, but result in a damaged flyer, like crashing it.

This only applies to player owned craft; the UFO and other NPC flyers still are destroyed when crashed.

as promised last week, all cessna tiltrotors and prion gyrocopters no longer have carbon nanotube doors. those are reserved for crafted flyers only (cessna skywagon, dragoon microzep, and patton supa-lifta). The purchased cessnas and prions now have metal doors, with a bit more armor than before, but not as good as the carbon nanotube door armor.

All boats are visible on the boat map again. While we don't want people to be able to see everything in the ocean magically, we need to make radar available first so that boats aren't nearly impossible to find.

I forgot to mention, the zombie bullet soak has been nerfed by five points on both sides, to 5-15.

There ahve been a few changes to the zombie mutation today. Here's a list.

1. Feeding: Feeding is now an interruptable act. Also, you must decapitate the head before feeding from it. If you try to feed from a corpse instead of a head, it automatically queues a butcher action to take the head. Zombie claws are as effective as a butcher knife, so you shouldn't have to many issues.

2. Zombies now respawn in prison if they have stars. This includes panopticon and the cube. You will spawn in a special room in panopticon, and get a cortex bomb.

3. Police and security guards will decapitate zombies. We can't have you criminals circumventing the system with you spooky voodoo, after all!

You can now sell and resell crafted flyers!

To sell a crafted flyer, just type 'sell to
'. It will sell for it's set value. Each crafted flyer has a default value.

You can set the value for a crafted flyer with the 'value at ' command. This sets the asking price.

To check the current price of a flyer, just appraise it.

To protect against fraud, you cannot set the value of a flyer while you are trying to sell it. Additionally, both the seller and the buyer must confirm that they wish to commit to the transaction, with the asking price clearly marked.

In the near future, the purchasable cessna tiltrotors and the prion gyrocopters made from kits will no longer have carbon nanotube doors. A new version of craftable cessna will have them. Also, this new cessna type will have more carrying capacity, more fuel capacity and a more efficient engine. I will probably make the changeover in a few days, unless someone raises a significant reason not to do so.

Changes have been made to how chud minions/loyalty works! Chud minions now come in multiple flavors with varying soaks/damage types! You now have to the chance to summon sea chud and red chud minions in addition to your normal minion types. Chud minions hang around a little longer based on reputation, with regular chud minions having a bonus to hangin' around! Look for additional minion changes in the future!
